Free SEO tools

Three tools I use on my own projects, made available for free: a Chrome extension to audit any page without creating an account, a desktop crawler to walk an entire site up to 500 URLs, and what you need to hunt down broken links.

No credit card · the extension asks for no account

What you can do, for free

Each tool answers a specific need. The right choice mostly depends on scope: one page, or a whole site.

How to choose

One page, or the whole site?

A single page

Chrome extension · no account

You open the page, the diagnosis appears. Ideal for checking a product page, an article, or a competitor’s page.

  • No sign-up
  • Immediate result
  • Report copies as Markdown
Install the extension

A whole site

Desktop crawler · 500 URLs free

The crawler walks the pages one by one and reveals what never shows page by page: depth, orphan pages, duplication, sitemap gaps.

  • Free account, no card
  • Windows and Linux
  • Report prioritised by impact

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Are these tools really free?
Yes. The Chrome extension is entirely free and asks for no account. The desktop crawler is free up to 500 URLs per site, after a simple sign-up and with no credit card.
Where does the free tier stop?
The extension has no limit: it audits as many pages as you want. The crawler stops at 500 pages crawled per site, which covers most brochure sites and small online shops. Beyond that, unlimited crawling and the online dashboard are part of the paid offer.
Do you need technical skills?
Not for the extension: you install it and read the diagnosis, sorted by severity. The crawler asks for a bit more reading, but the report shows which problems affect the most pages, so you know where to start.
