Page verdict: keep, refresh, merge or delete
For a URL, the skill delivers a clear-cut verdict backed by evidence, keep, refresh, merge or delete, from the positions, the traffic and the SERP. Enough to decide without hesitation on old pages.
A clear-cut verdict, backed by data
The skill cross-references what the page brings in and its place in the SERP, then decides between four outcomes.
- Cross-references positions, traffic and SERP for the page.
- Delivers one of the four verdicts, with the reason.
- Ideal for deciding on an old stock of content.

A site ages, and its stock of content with it. Some pages still bring in traffic, others linger without ranking. The page verdict skill takes a URL and delivers a clear-cut decision on evidence: keep, refresh, merge or delete, from the positions, the traffic and the current SERP.
Four decisions on evidence
Each verdict rests on readable data. A page in position 3 with stable traffic is kept. A page in position 11 whose SERP has changed is refreshed. Two articles that cannibalise each other are merged. A page with no clicks or signal is deleted and redirected. The reason always accompanies the decision.
Impressions without clicks: a common case
A page that shows up in the results but collects almost no clicks is not a rare case. Search Console shows it with a decent number of impressions, sometimes several hundred a month, and a click-through rate close to zero. The page verdict skill treats this case differently from a page with no traffic and no impressions: here, Google already judges the page relevant to the query and shows it, so the problem lies in what does or does not attract the click, the title, the meta description, or a position still low on page 2. The verdict returned is then “refresh”, with priority given to rewriting the title and the meta, before considering deeper work on the content if the CTR does not move after a few weeks.
Deciding on an old stock of content
The skill targets the content audit page by page, the one that gets put off for lack of a clear benchmark. Once the pages to keep are identified, they can be strengthened. For what comes next, see the SEO Cartograph dashboard, the technical audit or the internal linking project.
- Page verdict decided from positions, traffic and the SERP.
- Four possible outcomes: keep, refresh, merge or delete, with the reason.
- Impressions-without-clicks case treated as a signal to rework the title.
- Useful for deciding on an old stock of content, page by page.
